About the Senior Task Force

The Senior Task Force is a county-wide effort to bring together a broad spectrum of people interested in issues related to older adults and their families.

Businesses, service providers, community leaders, and senior groups - all these people have a place at the table.  We can make Champaign County a better place for seniors to live by sharing information broadly and by developing non-traditional and creative collaborations to address needs common to older adults.

The focus of the Task Force is 3-fold:

• From a broad perspective, inclusive of business leaders, service providers, citizens, and community leaders, identify the needs of older adults in Champaign County
• Address the needs of older adults and their families through information and community collaborations
• To organize advocacy on issues of importance to older adults
